Custom fields are a powerful tool in Bookings that allow you to capture information specific to your booking needs. This guide will walk you through enabling, viewing, and using them in different areas of Bookings.

Enabling Custom Fields

  1. Go to Bookings and select Add New.
  2. Click on the Settings icon (cogs symbol) in the top right corner.
  3. In the settings popup, find the "Custom Fields" section.
  4. Choose the custom fields you want to include by checking the boxes next to them. These will be pre-defined options available in Bookings.

Viewing Custom Fields in Bookings List

  1. Navigate to the Bookings section and select the "All" tab.
  2. Locate the eye icon above the booking list.
  3. Click the eye icon to display custom fields within the booking list itself.

Viewing Custom Fields in Calendars

By default, custom fields won't be visible on calendars for drivers, fleet operators, or admins. Here's how to activate them:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click on the "Users" tab.
  3. Within "Users," find sections for DriversFleet Operators, and Admins.
  4. In each section, activate the "Custom Fields" option.

Viewing Custom Fields in Invoices

Similar to calendars, invoices won't show custom fields by default. Here's how to enable them:

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Click on the "Invoices" tab.
  3. Locate the "Custom Fields" section within "Invoices."
  4. Select the checkboxes next to the custom fields you want to include on your invoices.
