Check How the Booking Was Received

Each booking includes a Source field showing how it entered the system.

To view it:

  1. Go to Bookings → All Bookings.

  2. Click Booking Details to open the full record.

  3. Locate the Source field under the booking information.

This field indicates whether the booking was created manually by staff, submitted through the online booking form, or received from a connected integration.

View Booking Status History

Every booking keeps a status history showing when each stage occurred — such as Confirmed, Assigned, Accepted, On Route, and Completed.

To check booking history:

  1. Open the Booking Details page.

  2. Find the section Tracking History on the detail page.

  3. The list will display all status updates with exact timestamps.

This allows you to track the full booking lifecycle and confirm when key actions occurred.

Check When and Who Assigned the Driver

When a dispatcher assigns a driver, the system automatically records both the time and the user who performed the assignment.

To find this:

  1. Open the Booking Details page.

  2. Look for the Assigned At field — it shows the exact date and time the driver was allocated.

  3. Check the Assigned By field — it shows which dispatcher assigned the driver.

  4. The assigned driver’s name will appear in the Driver field.

These fields help verify when and by whom the booking was allocated, ensuring full transparency for your dispatch operations.
Please note that these fields will only appear if the information was recorded. Older bookings may not include this data.

Downloading Tracking Data from the Tracking History Panel

EasyTaxiOffice now allows you to download GPS tracking data directly from the Tracking History panel of a booking. This feature is especially useful for reviewing the exact route taken during a job or for resolving customer disputes.

Where to Find the Download Option

  1. Open a booking from the Bookings section.

  2. Click the Tracking history link to view the journey route.

  3. If GPS data is available, you’ll see a "Download tracking data" button at the bottom of the map.

  4. Click this button to download a .csv file containing:

    • Driver name
    • GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude)
    • Timestamps

Tip: Hovering over each status update on the map will show a tooltip with the exact coordinates and timestamp.

Important Notes

  • Tracking data is only recorded if the driver app is used and tracking is enabled in the driver’s settings.

  • Status updates made outside the driver app — for example:

    • Changes made by the admin via the back office

    • Drivers using a mobile browser
      will not include GPS coordinates.

  • The download file provides a detailed breakdown of all available GPS points throughout the job, useful for performance reviews or auditing trip progress.
