Efficient data management is crucial for the smooth operation of your business. Our user-friendly import option empowers you to seamlessly incorporate data from external sources, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Step-by-Step Import Process

  1. Navigate to Import Section: Locate the import module within the following tabs: bookings, passengers, customers, or pricing. Each tab caters to specific data import needs.

  2. Download the Template: To ensure compatibility with our system, begin by downloading the template file, which contains all the available columns that can be imported. This provides a structured format for your data and ensures consistent data entry.

  3. Fill in the Template: Open the downloaded template file and populate it with your relevant data. Follow the column headers and ensure the data types align with the corresponding fields.

  4. Upload the File: Navigate to the import module and click the "Upload file" option. Choose your filled-in template file and select one of the supported file formats: CSV, XLSX, or XLS.

  5. Choose Column Mapping: Review the available columns and map them to the corresponding fields in your system. Ensure that all required fields marked with "*" are correctly mapped to maintain data integrity.

  6. Click Import: Once the column mapping is finalized, click the "Import" button. The system will analyse the uploaded file, validate the data, and proceed with the import process.

Formatting Phone Numbers for Excel

Excel may occasionally remove the "+" sign from phone numbers during the import process due to its data interpretation. To prevent this, follow these guidelines:

  1. Format as Text: Before entering phone numbers, format the column as text to avoid Excel's automatic interpretation as numbers.

  2. Manually Insert "+": Manually insert the "+" sign before each phone number to ensure it remains intact during formatting.

  3. Use a Custom Number Format: Create a custom number format with the "+" sign included. Right-click on the column header, select "Format Cells...", choose "Custom" from the category list, and enter a format string that includes the "+" sign. For example, "+#########".
