What You Need

Before you begin:

  • A Loqate account from loqate.com

  • A Loqate API Key (you’ll copy and paste this into EasyTaxiOffice)


How to Enable Loqate in EasyTaxiOffice

  1. Get Your API Key from Loqate

    • Go to www.loqate.com and log in.

    • Find your API Key (looks like this: AA11-AA11-AA11-AA11)

    • Copy the key.

  2. Go to Admin Panel

    • Log in to your EasyTaxiOffice Admin Panel.

    • Go to Settings > Integrations > Loqate.

  3. Activate Loqate

    • Check the box that says “Activate this service”.

    • Paste your Loqate API key into the API Key field.

  4. Save Your Changes

    • Click Save at the bottom of the page.

That’s it! Your booking form now uses Loqate for address suggestions.


What Happens When It’s Active?

  • Customers will see address suggestions while typing.

  • The system uses Loqate instead of Google Autocomplete.

  • If Loqate doesn’t find results, and Google is also enabled, it may fall back to Google.


Troubleshooting: “Unknown Key” Error

If you see “Unknown key” while typing an address, it means:

  • The API key you entered is wrong.

  • Or, your Loqate account is not set up correctly.

What to do:

  • Double-check the key you entered in EasyTaxiOffice.

  • Make sure there are no typos or missing parts.

  • Log in to your Loqate account and check that your account is active.

  • If you just signed up, confirm your email and accept any terms required.

⚠️ When this error appears, Google address suggestions will also stop working.


FAQ

Q: Can I use Loqate and Google Autocomplete together?
A: Not exactly. If Loqate is active, it takes over the suggestions. If it doesn’t find anything, and Google is enabled, then Google may show results.

Q: I typed an address, but nothing shows up.
A:

  • Make sure the Loqate service is activated and saved.

  • Check if your Loqate account has enough credits.

  • Try a simple address or postcode (like “SW1A 1AA”).

  • Check your internet connection.
