Booking restrictions are a powerful software feature that taxi businesses can use to control their availability and meet the needs of their customers while also protecting their business.

Here are some examples of how you can use booking restrictions:
  • Manage demand by restricting bookings for certain dates and times when demand is likely to be high.
  • Protect your drivers by restricting bookings for certain locations that are known to be dangerous or difficult to access.
  • Comply with local regulations by restricting bookings.
  • Control vehicle availability by restricting bookings for certain vehicle types.
  • Provide additional information to customers by adding a custom message to explain why a booking is restricted.
Benefits of booking restrictions:
  • Improved efficiency: Avoid overbooking and ensure that your taxis are used in the most efficient way possible.
  • Increased profitability: Charge the highest possible fares for bookings made during peak demand times, increasing profits.
  • Enhanced customer satisfaction: Improve customer satisfaction by ensuring they can book taxis when and where needed, with clear information about any restrictions.
  • Reduced cancellations: Reduce the number of cancellations by ensuring that customers are only able to book taxis for dates, times, locations, and vehicle types that are available.
  • Reduced costs: Booking restrictions can help to reduce costs in a number of ways, such as by reducing the number of cancellations and fuel costs.
