Setting Up SumUp Payment Method

  1. Register or Login: Create a new SumUp account or log in to your existing one.
  2. Enable Online Payments: Contact your payment provider and enable "Online payments" in your account to accept online transactions.
  3. Gather Credentials: Obtain your "Merchant code", "Client ID", and "Client secret" from your payment provider. Refer to the "Steps to Register App" section for details.
  4. Enter Details: Input these credentials in the SumUp payment integration tab of your booking software admin panel.
  5. Go Live: Switch the environment option to live mode to begin accepting online payments.
  6. Finalize Integration: Set the integration to Active and click Save to complete.

 

Steps to Register App

  1. Log In: Access your SumUp account.
  2. Navigate: Go to the OAuth Apps page.
  3. Create Application: Click "Create application" at the bottom right.
  4. Describe Application: Enter a descriptive name and your application's homepage URL.
  5. Register & Edit: Click "Register application" to complete. Edit later by clicking the app.
  6. Generate Client Secret: Click on your registered application and then "Create client secret" at the bottom.
  7. Fill Details: Provide details in the "Create new OAuth App credentials" form:
    • Name: Descriptive name for your client application.
    • Application Type: Type of your client application (Web, Android, iOS, or Other).
    • Authorized Redirect URL: The redirect URL for your client application (your EasyTaxiOffice login URL e.g. https://uXXXX.eto.taxi).
  8. Save & Download: Click Save to generate and download a JSON file with client credential details.
  9. Read Secret: Open the downloaded file to access the client secret key.
