Example Scenario
You want to run a summer promotion giving customers £5 off any ride between July 1–15, 2025, but limit it to 100 uses. You would set up the coupon as follows:
-
Coupon code: SUMMER5
-
Type: Flat
-
Value: £5
-
Allowed times: 100
-
Time limit: July 1, 2025 – July 15, 2025
-
Active: Checked
Once 100 customers have used the code, or the date range has passed, the coupon will automatically become inactive.
Tips for Managing Coupons
-
Reusability: If you want a code to be used by the same customer more than once, ensure the usage limit accommodates that.
-
Expiry Management: Use date and time limits to control when promotions start and end, avoiding the need for manual deactivation.
-
Testing: Always test a new code with a test booking to ensure it applies as expected.
