Example Scenario

You want to run a summer promotion giving customers £5 off any ride between July 1–15, 2025, but limit it to 100 uses. You would set up the coupon as follows:

  • Coupon code: SUMMER5

  • Type: Flat

  • Value: £5

  • Allowed times: 100

  • Time limit: July 1, 2025 – July 15, 2025

  • Active: Checked

Once 100 customers have used the code, or the date range has passed, the coupon will automatically become inactive.

Tips for Managing Coupons

  • Reusability: If you want a code to be used by the same customer more than once, ensure the usage limit accommodates that.

  • Expiry Management: Use date and time limits to control when promotions start and end, avoiding the need for manual deactivation.

  • Testing: Always test a new code with a test booking to ensure it applies as expected.
