What Are Meeting Points?
A Meeting Point is a predefined location with detailed pickup instructions that can be quickly selected when creating or managing bookings.
Using Meeting Points helps you:
- Standardize pickup instructions across your team
- Reduce confusion for drivers and passengers
- Speed up booking creation
- Improve overall service quality
Accessing Meeting Points
To manage Meeting Points:
- Go to Settings
- Click on Meeting Points
Adding a New Meeting Point
To create a new Meeting Point:
- Click the Add New button
- Fill in the required fields:
- Postcodes – A location postcode
- Apply when Meet and Greet is enabled – Enable this if the meeting point should only apply to bookings where Meet & Greet is selected
- Apply when the location is an Airport – Enable this to automatically apply the meeting point for airport-related bookings
- Customer message – Detailed pickup instructions for drivers and passengers
- Note – A clear and recognizable name (e.g., Heathrow Terminal 5 Arrivals)
- Click Save
Example
- Name: Heathrow Terminal 3 – Short Stay Car Park
- Address: Heathrow Airport, Terminal 3
- Instructions: Meet at Level 1, Row B. Driver will call upon arrival.
Editing a Meeting Point
To update an existing Meeting Point:
- Locate the Meeting Point in the list
- Click Edit
- Make the necessary changes
- Click Save
Deleting a Meeting Point
To remove a Meeting Point:
- Find the Meeting Point in the list
- Click Delete
- Confirm the deletion
⚠️ Note: Deleting a Meeting Point will not affect past bookings, but it will no longer be available for future use.
Best Practices
- Use clear and specific names (e.g., include terminal numbers or landmarks)
- Provide step-by-step instructions where necessary
- Use conditional options (Meet & Greet / Airport) to automate usage where appropriate
- Regularly review and update Meeting Points for accuracy
- Avoid duplicates to keep the list clean and easy to use
When to Use Meeting Points
Meeting Points are particularly useful for:
- Airports (terminals, arrivals halls, parking zones)
- Train stations
- Hotels and resorts
- Event venues and stadiums
- High-traffic city locations
