Each Business Profile can have its own customer-facing settings and operational configuration, while your administrators, drivers, bookings, and dispatch operations can still be managed centrally.
For example, one EasyTaxiOffice account could contain:
| Business Profile | Example use |
|---|---|
| London Airport Cars | Airport transfer business |
| City Taxi | Local taxi service |
| Executive Travel | Chauffeur and corporate bookings |
Each profile can use different pricing, vehicles, payment methods, booking settings, branding, languages, currencies, and other configuration.
What Is a Business Profile?
A Business Profile is a separate configuration area within your EasyTaxiOffice account.
It can be used when the same operator manages different:
| Use | Example |
|---|---|
| Brands | Different trading names operated by the same company |
| Locations | Different cities, regions, or countries |
| Websites | Separate booking websites connected to the same EasyTaxiOffice account |
| Services | Airport transfers, local taxi work, chauffeur services, corporate transport |
| Pricing | Different fares, surcharges, fixed prices, or minimum prices |
| Currencies | For example GBP for one profile and EUR for another |
| Languages | Different customer-facing language settings |
| Booking rules | Different Web Booking requirements or cancellation policies |
Business Profiles allow these differences to be managed without creating completely separate EasyTaxiOffice systems.
What Can Be Different Between Business Profiles?
Many settings and records are connected to the currently selected Business Profile.
Examples include:
| Area | Can differ by Business Profile |
|---|---|
| Company name and customer-facing identity | Yes |
| Logo | Yes |
| Currency | Yes |
| Language and time zone | Yes |
| Web Booking settings | Yes |
| Vehicle types | Yes |
| Services | Yes |
| Fixed prices | Yes |
| Distance and pricing rules | Yes |
| Charges and discounts | Yes |
| Booking restrictions | Yes |
| Payment methods | Yes |
| Customer notification settings | Yes |
| Integration settings | Depending on the integration |
| Website/domain | Yes |
This means that changing a setting while Business Profile A is active will normally affect Profile A only when that setting is profile-specific.
Some settings are system-wide or subscription-wide and are shared between all Business Profiles.
What Is Shared Between Business Profiles?
Business Profiles are not completely separate EasyTaxiOffice accounts.
Some information remains shared across the main account.
| Area | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| EasyTaxiOffice subscription | Shared |
| Administrator accounts | Generally shared |
| Driver accounts | Generally shared |
| Fleet Operator accounts | Generally shared |
| Roles and permissions | Shared |
| Central administration | Shared |
| Dispatch operation | Can work with bookings from multiple profiles |
| Zones | Shared |
| Customer accounts | Can be used with bookings from different Business Profiles |
A Business Profile should therefore be considered a configuration and operational division within the same EasyTaxiOffice account, rather than a separate account or database.
Business Profile Name and Company Name Are Different
The Business Profile Name is mainly used internally to identify the profile in EasyTaxiOffice.
For example:
Business Profile Name:
London Airport Operations
The customer-facing company name could still be:
Company Name:
London Airport Cars
The company name, logo and other customer-facing information are controlled through the settings of the selected Business Profile.
This allows administrators to use clear internal profile names without necessarily displaying those names to customers.
Switching Between Business Profiles
If your account contains more than one active Business Profile and your administrator account has permission to switch profiles, a Switch profile selector is available in the Admin Panel.
To change the active profile:
-
Locate the Switch profile selector in the Admin Panel.
-
Select the Business Profile you want to work with.
-
The system changes the active configuration context to that profile.
-
Open the required Settings or administration section.
-
Any profile-specific settings you edit will apply to the selected Business Profile.
Before changing pricing, Web Booking settings, payment methods, vehicles, or company information, always check which Business Profile is currently selected.
Switching Profiles Does Not Automatically Filter Bookings
The active Business Profile and the profiles displayed in Bookings or Dispatch are separate controls.
For example, you could have:
Active Business Profile:
London Airport Cars
while the Booking or Dispatch list is configured to show bookings from:
London Airport Cars + City Taxi + Executive Travel
Changing the Business Profile selector changes the configuration you are working with.
It does not necessarily change which bookings are visible in your booking or dispatch lists.
Depending on your account configuration and permissions, booking visibility can be set to show all profiles, the active profile, or selected profiles.
Business Profile Fields
When managing a Business Profile, the following information may be available:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Internal name used to identify the Business Profile |
| Description | Optional description of the profile |
| Domain | Website/domain associated with the profile |
| Key | System-generated identifier used by profile-aware services such as Web Booking |
| Ordering | Controls the profile's position/order |
| Default | Sets the preferred profile when another profile has not been specifically selected |
| Active | Determines whether the profile is available for normal use |
Default Business Profile
One profile can be set as the Default.
The Default profile is used when EasyTaxiOffice cannot determine another Business Profile from an existing session, profile key, or matching domain.
For this reason, the Default profile should normally contain the settings you want the system to use as the standard fallback.
Active
Only active/published Business Profiles are normally available through the profile selector and standard profile-resolution process.
Making a profile inactive does not mean that its historical bookings are deleted.
Domains and Web Booking
Business Profiles can be associated with different websites or domains.
For example:
| Website | Business Profile |
|---|---|
| airportcars.example | Airport Cars |
| citytaxi.example | City Taxi |
| executive.example | Executive Travel |
EasyTaxiOffice can use the website domain or Business Profile key to determine which profile's configuration should be used.
This is particularly important for Web Booking because the selected Business Profile can determine the branding, vehicles, currency, prices, booking rules, payment methods, and customer communications presented during the booking process.
Creating a New Business Profile
The number of Business Profiles that can be created depends on the Business Profile allowance available for your EasyTaxiOffice account.
When a new profile is created, EasyTaxiOffice prepares the basic configuration required for the new profile, including initial settings and selected default records.
The new profile can then be customised independently.
Before using it for live bookings, review the profile's company information, Web Booking configuration, vehicle types, prices, payment methods, notifications, integrations, and customer-facing content.
Copying a Business Profile
A Business Profile can also be copied.
This can save time when a new profile requires configuration similar to an existing profile.
The copy process can duplicate a substantial amount of profile-specific configuration, including pricing information, vehicles, payments, charges, booking restrictions, pages, and settings.
However, Copy Business Profile should not be treated as a complete duplicate of the original profile.
Some profile-specific modules or records may require separate configuration after the copy.
Bookings and customer booking history are not copied into the new Business Profile.
Always review the new profile before making it available to customers.
Deleting a Business Profile
Deleting a Business Profile is a destructive operation and should be used carefully.
EasyTaxiOffice prevents deletion when only one Business Profile remains.
Depending on your permissions and system configuration, deleting a profile may also require confirmation using your administrator password.
Profile deletion removes associated profile configuration and data such as pricing, vehicles, payments, settings and other profile-related records.
By default, associated bookings are retained unless the option to remove the bookings is specifically selected.
Because profile deletion can affect a significant amount of data, contact EasyTaxiOffice Support before deleting a Business Profile if you are unsure whether the information should be retained.
Example: Operating Two Brands
Suppose an operator manages two brands:
| Setting | Airport Cars | City Taxi |
|---|---|---|
| Company name | Airport Cars Ltd | City Taxi Ltd |
| Website | airportcars.example | citytaxi.example |
| Currency | GBP | GBP |
| Vehicle types | Saloon, Executive, Minibus | Saloon, Estate, MPV |
| Pricing | Airport fixed prices | Local mileage pricing |
| Web Booking | Airport/flight-focused fields | Standard local booking |
| Payment methods | Card and invoice | Cash and card |
| Logo | Airport Cars branding | City Taxi branding |
Administrators and drivers can still operate from the same EasyTaxiOffice system, while customers experience the appropriate pricing, branding and booking options for each business.
Important Things to Remember
Business Profiles separate many settings and operational records, but they are not completely independent EasyTaxiOffice accounts.
Before changing settings, always check the active Business Profile.
Remember that changing the active profile and filtering bookings are different functions.
When copying a Business Profile, review the copied configuration before using it for live bookings.
When using multiple websites or Web Booking Widgets, make sure each one is connected to the correct Business Profile.
Be particularly careful when deleting a Business Profile because associated configuration and data can be permanently removed.
Troubleshooting
I cannot see the Business Profile selector
The selector normally appears only when more than one Business Profile is available and your administrator account has permission to switch profiles.
Contact your EasyTaxiOffice administrator if you believe you should have access.
I changed a setting but another profile was not affected
This is expected when the setting is Business Profile-specific.
Switch to the other Business Profile and configure the corresponding setting separately.
I switched Business Profile but I can still see bookings from other profiles
The Business Profile selector controls the active configuration profile.
Booking and Dispatch visibility use separate profile filtering settings and may be configured to show bookings from multiple profiles.
My Web Booking is showing the wrong prices or branding
Check that the website or Web Booking integration is using the correct Business Profile.
Using the wrong profile can result in the wrong currency, vehicles, prices, company information, payment methods, or booking rules being displayed.
I copied a Business Profile but some configuration is missing
Copying a profile does not duplicate every possible record or module.
Review the new profile and configure any missing services, integrations, routes, or other profile-specific options before making it live.

Summary
Business Profiles allow one EasyTaxiOffice account to support multiple brands, regions, websites, pricing structures, or service types.
They provide separate customer-facing and operational configuration where required while allowing administrators, drivers and dispatch operations to continue working within one central EasyTaxiOffice system.
When working with multiple Business Profiles, always check the active profile before editing settings and remember that Business Profile selection is separate from Booking and Dispatch filtering.
