Why This Setting Is Important

Proper configuration of contact visibility allows you to:

  • Enable direct communication between passengers and drivers
  • Protect personal contact details
  • Route communication through your company instead of sharing private numbers
  • Maintain compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR)

You can choose between:

  • Showing personal contact details
  • Hiding contact details
  • Displaying company contact details instead

Contact Visibility Options Explained

In both Customer Settings and Driver Settings, you may see the following options:

  • YES – Shows the user's actual phone number/email.
  • NO – Hides the contact information completely.
  • As a company phone number / As a company email – Displays the company’s contact details instead of the user’s personal information.

This third option allows communication without exposing private data.

This is particularly useful if you want to:

  • Maintain full control over communication
  • Protect personal data
  • Avoid drivers and passengers contacting each other outside the system
  • Centralize customer support
